Our servers are located in a datacenter facility we have codenamed MMSDC02 and this
provides us with access to a number of providers. The datacenter is located in
Market Post Tower, 55 South Market, San Jose, California. The major gateway of
all Silicon Valley data peering, Market Post Tower is located in the heart of
downtown San Jose, California. Virtually all of the surrounding San Francisco
Bay Area NAPs and Data Centers connect to Market Post Tower via high-speed local
fiber rings. With 70% of internet traffic from the Western United States and
40% of the world internet traffic passing through the building, Market Post
Tower truly is a nexus of international data routing
Engineered to provide complete redundancy in power and network connectivity,
it is an excellent datacenter location. The building itself enables the
datacenter to bring in 25 carriers quickly and easily. Market Post Tower provides users with tremendous connectivity
opportunities. The Market Post Tower tenant roster includes telecommunications
and Internet access companies in a wide range of sectors and geographic regions
around the world. The building offers three diverse points of entry with plans
in development to increase points of entry for further diversity.
Market Post Tower has dual 12KV PG&E feeders serving the facility. Power is
delivered via a central core power riser to each floor by means of a central
conduit riser system. Power allocated is based on the tenant's actual
demonstrated loads. Typical power allocation is approximately 40 watts per sq.
ft. expandable to 80 watts per sq. ft. The building is equipped with a total of
6 emergency and backup generators. These range from a 150KW to a 2,000KW unit.
Power for all technical space environments is provided via automatic transfer
switches that will seamlessly transfer power from our utility provider to our
backup generators in a matter of seconds. Power is distributed to the various
floors through a centralized conduit riser system. An additional 2000 KW
generator will be added as demand increases. Market Post Tower has fuel storage
capacity to supply power for a minimum of 24 hours with contracts in place to
provide a continuance fuel supply to carry systems through any kind of service
interruption. The building has installed a new, fully redundant, roof mounted,
1,500-ton cooling tower, redundant pumps and condenser water piping system to
service a number of the technical space floors. All data center space is
provided with Liebert computer room air conditioners sized to fully condition
the spaces to match power demand.
