How soon will my server be ready?
All servers are usually provisioned within 24 hours but on a weekend this may be extended to 48 hours.

Can I send you hardware to add to my server?
Unfortunately this is currently not an option. Sorry.

Can I connect servers up?
To connect servers up you will need an additional network card on each server which will cost $10 Monthly per server - If connecting more than 2 servers you will also need a switch which will cost $25 per month, please contact customers@managemyservices.com for more information!

Do I receive root server access?
Yes! You can have as much or as little access as you wish to your server!

What is your payment and refund policy?
We do not offer refunds and cancellation must be made at least 5 days before payment is due.

Is there an option to not have a control panel on your servers?
Yes. We can do a plain install of CentOS, Fedora, FreeBSD or Debian and then leave you to do the rest.

Do you provide remote reboot ports?
All our servers can have a reboot port added for $20/Month additional. Just choose the option on the server setup form!

Do you allow IRC services on your servers?
We allow IRC services providing the IRC server is not connected to any other network.

Do you offer an SLA/Uptime Guarantee?
All servers carry a 99.9% uptime guarantee.

How is bandwidth measured?
Bandwidth is measured at the switch via MRTG. It is the total amount of in-coming and outgoing bandwidth and is NOT a 50/50 split as some providers do.

Do you provide server monitoring?
Yes! All servers are monitored by our internal monitoring systems.

Do you provide backup services?

How much are extra services?
All pricing can be found on our Extra Services page.

Do you offer pre-pay discount?
No, all billing is performed on a month to month basis.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through PayPal. PayPal Accepts Visa, Visa Delta/Electron, Amex, Mastercard, Switch, Solo.

Can you sell me additional bandwidth in bulk?
We can do these deals on a custom basis. Please speak to customers@managemyservices.com regarding this.

Do you support Windows Operating System?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide Windows machines or provide support for them at this point due to our policy of not providing anything we cannot provide 100% quality support for. It is something we will consider in the future but at this point our chosen operating systems are Fedora, Debian, FreeBSD or CentOS. We know it is somewhat limited but we really want to provide high quality management services and not over-burden our support staff with many different configurations, instead they only need to learn the panels and similar unix operating systems and they therefore know them to a much higher standard.

Are adult sites acceptable?
Yes they are acceptable on all of our servers providing the content is completely legal.

How do you tell if servers have hyperthreading enabled?
Any server which is hyperthreading enabled will have a HT at the end of the processor name. If it does not then HT is not available on this machine. If in doubt contact customers@managemyservices.com

What is your policy on IP Allocation?
IP Addresses are a limited internet resource, before we are able to request more IP space from ARIN (Managing company of IP space) we have to justify all of our current usage. Therefore we need to have our customers do the same.

Each server is allocated 1 primary IP and 2 secondary IPS on setup.

After that you are able to request an additional 8 Free with the following information -

Domain Name/Nameserver IP is to be used on
Justification for IP Address (DNS, SSL, Annon FTP).

Requests must be made via the MMBox section of Customer Control Center. If you wish you may update the opened issue with a specification for different IP blocks. We are able to accomodate IPS on two different IP blocks at once at present if you wish, though unless you have a need for this there is no real point to it.

After those first 10 have been used then you may buy an additional 10 for $10/Month and again, these must be justified in the same way as the previous addresses.

There is a limit of 20 IP addresses per server.

IP usage and justification needs to be kept updated via our Customer Control Center so in the event we need to request more IP space we have justification ready.

What is your policy on additional bandwidth and overusage?
All servers are allocated a generous amount of bandwidth either 750GB or 1500GB as standard.

If you should go over we offer the following options -

250GB Additional - $39
350GB Additional - $59
500GB Additional - $79
1000GB Additional - $149
10Mbps Unmetered - $299

Or you can choose to pay by the GB in which case we charge $0.50 per GB.

We feel this pricing is fair and in line with our competitors (in most cases it is cheaper!). MRTG graphs can be found in the Customer Control Center and it is your responsibility to keep an eye on your usage.

Do you allow proxy websites on your servers?
Yes, as long as you ensure they are safe and secure and not abused they are allowed.

Can you provide any other payment options other than PayPal?
While we are working on this we can only accept PayPal at the present time. We apologise if your country is unsupported by PayPal at the present time but we cannot take your order if this is the case.

Can I upgrade bandwidth to above 100mbps?
100Mbps allocations are made on a limited, shared line. If you wish to get more bandwidth, we can offer you unmetered bandwidth on a dedicated 10mbps line at $150.00 Monthly extra.

Do I need the ManageMyBox nameservers for my dedicated server?
We do not provide nameservers, instead we will set your own personalised nameservers up for you on your server when you order your dedicated hosting package.
