referral promotion

This page details our new referral promotion being offered between August 25 2008 and October 31 2008.

Current Customer Referral Promotion

For every referral you send us we will give you 50% of the first months dedicated server charge - this includes all additional options added to the server at setup time!

Referral credits are issued as a credit on your next months dedicated server bill and if a credit exceeds the amount of your monthly bill the credit amount will roll-over until it is used.

This current customer referral promotion expires on 31 October 2008.

Further Information:

In the order process for our dedicated servers there is a referral field for the customer to enter a referral name. In this box the customer you a referring MUST enter either the name on your Control Center account OR the Control Center Account ID. This means we can then link the sale to you.

A way for you to get a definite credit for the referral is by using the URL format:

http://www.managemybox.com/?jump=ACCCOUNTIDHERE

Which means when the user hits the order form the referral field will automatically be completed with your account ID. This is not a cookie and will expire at the end of that users session.

Payment Information

The discount amount will be credited back to you once you have paid your bill in full (due to our subscription system we have to perform the credit as a refund afterwards).
If total referral fees owed to you are greater than your dedicated server bill, the remaining credit amount will be rolled over to the next month until it is used up.

Terms & Conditions

You can use yourself as a referrer when ordering new servers for yourself
You must already own a dedicated server package with ManageMyBox
Credits can only be issued as a credit for an existing ManageMyBox package, no payments can be sent to you, should you cancel your server before full credit is used then remaining credit is written off.
50% credit amount is calculated AFTER additional options such as control panels and hardware upgrades are added to the server being ordered. E.g. if a customer ordered a $99 server and adds $25 cPanel then total credit to you would be $62.
The name on your Control Center account OR Control Center Account ID MUST be in the referral field for that order for credit to be issued.
You CANNOT receive an affiliate credit and a current customer referral credit. If an affiliate commission is paid for the sale the current customer referral will be ignored.
